Alabaster ~ Rend Collective Experiment

I am broken at Your feet
Like an alabaster jar
Every piece of who I am
Laid before Your majesty

I will bow my life
At Your feet
At Your feet
My lips
So lost for words
Will kiss Your feet
Kiss Your feet

Oh the gravity of You
Draws my soul unto its knees
I will never be the same
I am lost and found in You

Back to School

Last week we started school!! Only two people in our family were excited....Jacob and I :)
Jacob has been wanting to start school since July when the new material arrived. I was not about to start until the end of August!
This year, we decided to have Jesse use the Abeka Academy program on dvd. Last year, I was struggling with teaching him his math and grammar that I knew next school year had to change. We want him to have the proper teaching seeing that he is approaching high school soon and I knew that with me teaching him, he wouldn't get the best teaching :)
I was excited to start and anxious to see how Jesse would do. A few weeks ago, I had bought a few school supplies for the kids. That started to strike "excitement" within the kids for the new school year. Jacob, of course, was already begging me to start for several weeks, so he was ecstatic knowing that he would be starting Monday!
Saturday and Sunday, I had put together the kids' worksheets for the week and had watched a few of Jesse's classes so I knew what to expect.
Monday, the kids were all up and ready to go by 7:30! Jacob had his homework done first and was now "bored". Joshua and Jessica soon finished theirs as well. I told Jesse that I would sit with him during his first lessons for all his classes that day. He seemed to really like it and it helps me out as well.
So far the kids are doing review, which makes homework quick and easy to get done. :)
I am thankful again, that God has blessed us with another year of being able to homeschool!!
